Windrush Estate Winery (Hockley Valley)

Windrush Estate Winery sits atop 68 breathtaking acres in the bucolic Hockley Valley, an hour northwest of Toronto. With inspiration drawn from their world travels, and deep love of wine and hospitality, founders J.C. Pennie and Marilyn Field were driven to create world-class wines in their state-of-the-art winery, opening in 2017. Drawing on John’s years of business success and Marilyn’s international executive experience, they have assembled a formidable team committed to excellence in the vineyard and the winery.

 The VQA wines, with fruit sourced from some of the best vineyard sites in Niagara, are created by Chief Winemaker, Jonathan Boyle and a partnership with legendary Vintner, Jim Warren. A veritable trove of awards has followed, from the London Wine Competition and the World Decanter Wine Competition, to numerous critical accolades. The winery is open Wednesday through Sunday from 11am-4pm for tours and tastings. Windrush is deeply committed to social good and 10% of the profits each year are directed to empower underserved youth in the community.
