The 2017 Cain Five is a fresh and mouth-watering wine, blessed by a summer that brought high heat followed by a cooler fall. The wine is lush, perfumed with great natural acidity and fine structure. The blend for the 2017 is 46 Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot, 21% Cabernet Franc, 5% Malbec and 2% Petit Verdot. 96 Points James Suckling

Classical, refined red wine, the Cain Cuvée NV 15 is made from specific vineyards, both mountain and valley, as well as two harvests, 2015 and 2014, both very powerful years. The label states, ‘Harvested, Vinified and Blended for Freshness, Lightness, Complexity and Balance.’ NV15 Cain Cuvée, has a bouquet of raspberries, red cherries, forest, and earth, but the best is the palate. This one steps lightly and with elegance—mouth-filling without being heavy, it slips down easy to a delicate, clean finish. Exactly what we want.
