Veglio Luigi e Massimo (IT Piedmonte)

The Talloria Valley in Piedmonte is home to Cascina Cappellano, where for over 100 years the family of Luigi and Massimo Veglio have farmed. Acutely aware of their heritage of carrying on not only a family tradition, but also the history and stewardship of the land that has been for cultivated on this property since 1700. Farming 12 hectares between Langhe and Roero in and around the commune of Diano D’Alba, the domaine has been working organically for over twenty years. Biodiversity in the vineyard and meticulous attention to the nuances of each vintage in the winery are hallmarks of this estate. Veglio produces wines of spectacular purity working with Nebbiolo, Barbera, Aernis and Chardonnay creating eight different cuvées each year.

Ranger Wine will be offering a very limited selection of the 2018 Barolo Raviole in the fall of 2022 with a greater selection of Veglio wines throughout 2023. We are honoured to be working with these extraordinary producers.
