British Columbia
With a stunning breadth of diverse terroir, from arid desert to cool climate vineyards, the possibilities to create world class wines are boundless, With over 369 licensed wineries and 929 vineyards, British Columbia is Canada’s largest and most diverse wine producing region. It is also the most awarded and acclaimed, garnering over 1000 national and international awards in 2019 alone. You can find BC wines from Harrods to Hong Kong, yet surprisingly few make their way across Canada. Our goal is to make these wines available to the largest wine market in Canada.
Bella Wines
Bella is a sparkling wine house focused on single vineyard expressions of Chardonnay, a classic Champagne grape, and Gamay Noir, an under-appreciated BC grape. Being BC’s only winery exclusively dedicated to sparkling wine, Bella produces natural sparkling wines of exceptional quality using the traditional and ancestrale methods.
Bella’s extraordinary, single vineyard, natural wines are made by Jay Drysdale based on a holistic philosophy that places the vineyard at the centre of an entire ecosystem that includes organic fruit, diverse vegetation, no pesticide use and farm animals. Jay and partner, Wendy Rose are highly respected leaders in the BC winemaking industry, inspiring others, not just with their award winning wines, but as community leaders and organic farmers with a commitment to the recognition of the Okanagan Valley as a producer of world class wines.
Ranger Wine has generous allocations across the range of Bella Wines production.

Deep Roots Winery
Deep Roots is a family owned and operated winery perched on the clay cliffs above Okanagan Lake on the Naramata Bench.
The Hardman family has been farming the land around the winery for 100 years, spanning four generations. After many years of selling grapes to other wineries, they took the leap into winemaking, producing the first vintage in 2012. The Deep Roots philosophy has always been to celebrate the exceptional fruit that grows in our vineyards ~ our wines reflect that pride in our quality viticulture.
We have two vineyards at two sites on the Naramata Bench: our Hardman Vineyard, which is our home property on Aikins Loop and Rayner’s Vineyard, located north of Naramata village.
Our Hardman Vineyard is home to nine acres where we grow Muscat, Gamay, Merlot, and Malbec. The Rayner property has been farmed by our family for almost forty years and is home to eleven acres of vines, including Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Malbec, and Syrah.
Both of these farms were planted with fruit orchards for much of the previous century, which has contributed to the unique and rich terroir of the area. All of our vineyard work is done by hand, as we are passionate about producing grapes that are the best expressions of each varietal.
Ranger Wine is delighted to carry the full range of wines produced by Deep Roots Winery.
