Lyme Bay Winery (Devon UK)

Nestled in the bucolic Axe Valley in Devon in the south of England, Lyme Bay Winery is crafting award-winning, delicious wines made in a clean and contemporary style. Sourcing grapes from long-standing connections with growers built over many years, these relationships ensure excellent quality fruit each year and provide the basis for a house style that is consistent from vintage to vintage. In the words of Managing Director, James Lambert: ‘This allows us to assemble complex blends from clones of grapes that give truly unique characteristics from growers across the country’. Lyme Bay’s still white wines are made primarily from the Bacchus grape, which has shown itself to be perfectly suited to the growing conditions in the UK. It produces a light to medium bodied wine that resembles many expressions of Old World sauvignon blanc.

While Lyme Bay produces a variety of wines, ciders, meads and even spirits, Ranger Wine is delighted to introduce the Sandbar, Shoreline and Bacchus Block wines to the Ontario market.
